The 80s were a time when nearly all of the fashion trends that people love to **** were created. Hair was teased and permed to get that classy Afro style, make up was more like face paint and unplucked eyebrows were trendy. The time that fashion forgot is a phrase suited to the 80s, as nearly all common laws of fashion were broken & torn into minuscule pieces. MTV was a major influence for 80s fashion, as well as TV shows such as ‘Dynasty’ and ‘Dallas’… vintage-threads.com Hope you enjoyed the video! We had so much fun back in the 80′s. You were not able to sit in a bedroom clicking on a ‘like’ button you had to get out and experience things. so we spent more time out and about visiting people, going to gigs and stuff like that.

Nice video because back in the 80s it was all about exploring who you were, and experimenting without anyone raising an eyebrow. So, as teens we could change our style on a daily basis and no one looked at us like we were aliens. Great times!

I’m a teenager that loves 80′s fashion ,and I wish that I was born in 70′s to relive my teenage years in the 80′s. I just simply loath today’s fashion trends. Now a days you see males dress like wannabe gangsters with their underware showing while, the girls dress like ***** from the streets. I only wear hand-me-downs and my favorite classic rock band t-shirts. I don’t want to follow what’s hot or trendy.

Man I wish i got to experience 70/80′s.. The fashion and lifestyle seemed to be so uniqe.. Today we don’t have anything worth remembering. Life back then seemed just much more enjoyable and peaceful at the same time.. Today we are lonely amongst big, crowded cities

Now that you mention it, the borrowing for decades past has been done quite often through the years. Have you noticed all of the retro “Bettys” (I guess that it is a nod to 50s psycho-bondage model, Betty Page) and their male counterparts. I think it looks kinda cool, except for the excessive tattoos (on the gals, anyway).
My daughter’s friend (about 12 years old) asked if I had ever been to an “80s Party”. I had too laugh at her innocence when I answered her, ” Sure, in the 80s”

@haitipi Yep. But I love war paint/face paint makeup though and I always will even if I don’t always wear it! LOL And a bubble perm done the right way looks cute! LOL Honestly it does!
The 80s were fun, and people can borrow a little bit of it without going too far with it, and all will be well! Sadly the 90s are coming back in style and I hated the 90s back when I was there! The 90s were either but ugly, or minimalistic to the point of Nazism or boredom.
